Afternoon Light Over a Frozen River
Walking back from a hike through Rovaniemi we were crossing the Ounaskoski Railway Bridge. We stopped to watch snowmobiles race across the surface of ice. Wondering how thick the ice was. How much weight it could support. Then we noticed foot trails all throughout the snowy covering. We were not as adventurous enough to try a jaunt across the frozen river back to our hotel but if we ever make it back here in winter again I will definitely try a nice hike over Kemijoki River, February 2023
